People run, people jump, people cycle.. all personal challenges and all in the name of raising money for some exceptional causes. But when I heard about something a little different that was happening again this year, I decided to take the plunge!

One breezy Sunday morning in June 2011, 413 people met on a beach in South Wales. They raised £25,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care and they set a new world record. For what?.. Skinny Dipping!! Here's what it's all about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8jZBU3tyTs

So, on the 24th June this year I will be getting my kit off and running into the sea with several hundred others! Why I hear you ask?... because life's too short and - I can.This has become a bucket list event for me.

Now, before you think I'm an exhibitionist I should explain that this is going to be a HUGE personal challenge and will not be easy for me to do (and not just because it'll be rather chilly either!). That's where you guys come in.. I need you to help me raise as much money as I can for Marie Curie as not only will that go to support the amazing work the charity does in supporting people with cancer, but it will give me the confidence and a push to complete it!!

So roll up, roll up... This is a one-off - I won't ask you again. Help me overcome my hang ups and help me help those who help others by doing something completely bonkers!
