Dancing duo takes on Leeds 10K

Leeds 10K 2015 · 12 July 2015 ·
So we decided back in February to take a sabbatical from our fame as the dazzling dancing duo. Despite many a request from our fans to return to the dance floor, we have trained for 4 gruelling months, suffering from "fractured ligaments", agonising cramp and worst of all Leeds treacherous wind damage to our hair. However, we have invested in top notch trainers and head bands in order to perform at our best! So now is your chance to get behind us, as we open the doors to your donations to run the Leeds 10k on 12th July.
Although Just Giving won't allow us to choose two charities, we ask you to split your funds as equally as possible between our two chosen charities - Kidney Research UK and The Cats Protection League.
After the death of Patrick's Grandad the family wanted to contribute in some way to the dialysis unit that supported him like a second family on a weekly basis, this is why Patrick has chosen to run for Kidney Research UK in order to raise funds to support their work supporting over 3 million patients and their families in treatment and ultimately find a cure to kidney disease.
Becky has chosen to run for The Cats Protection League, Gildersome, as back in 2013 a rugged red headed stray feline walked into her life and neither have looked back since, sleeping nose to nose every night. In her dream world Becky would like to house all the stray and rescued cats from around the world, but she simply cannot do this - this is where The Cats Protection League step into help! Basically, Becky just LOVES cats!
So, think of your beloved pets and your alcohol fuelled kidneys and open your pockets to donate to the dancing duo and see them strut their stuff to the 10k finishing line in July!
