THEY MADE IT!!!  60 MILES TO CAMBRIDGE IN A VERY DECENT TIME.  Brett Garratt went storming ahead and completed the task in just over 3 hours and the rest of the team finished in just over 4 hours which was very impressive.  The sight of some of them attempting to walk afterwards was somewhat amusing but they'll get over it!

THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SPONSORED MEMBERS OF THE TEAM.  WE GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

Please do have a look at our website www.beyondourselves.co.uk to get an update of the charity's plans.

We are currently raising money for our UK project.  As we see the huge need of our local teenagers, evident in youth crime and a high teenage pregnancy rate, we feel moved to do something positive for our teenagers.

We are working towards opening a youth resource centre which would be somewhere for teenagers to come for practical help and advice on drugs, sexual health and other things.  Also somewhere they can come to gain skills for life and work from the workshops being run.  We are planning to work closely with youth workers, churches, schools, the police and other professionals.

Our sponsorship money will be put towards setting up this resource centre.

10% of donations will be directed to Breakthrough Breast Cancer who are involved in organising the sponsored cycle event.

We are in vigorous training and attempting to find the best padding possible for our saddles!
