When it comes to addressing social, cultural, and lifestyle ills amongst youths, we at Beyond Sport believe that sport can and is being used as a positive mechanism to address the root of society’s issues around youth violence and crime.

Following the destruction and anti-social behaviour that spread like wildfire through London and the UK, Beyond Sport, the global organisation based in London that promotes, supports, and recognises those that use sport to trigger positive social change in their communities, is calling on their network to rally around the UK sports programs that tackle the very issues that recently spilled onto the country’s streets. These projects are proof on the ground that sport has the power to reach kids and young adults - to educate them and provide them with positive life-skills, and opportunities.

In a time when all eyes are on the UK due to the negative behaviour of few, let us join together and support the many who are in the community, working with youngsters every day to instil positive action and attitude.
