We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

I suffered a Brain Haemorrhage (Stroke) due to a rare brain condition called an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation of the Brain) 19 months ago (March 2012). I was lucky enough to have the support of amazing doctors, surgeons, nurses, friends & work colleagues who have been invaluable in my recovery. I would like to give something back to the National Hospital of Neurology & Neurosurgery to help them to continue providing this high level of support to future patients.

I am taking part in a sponsored 400 mile ride through Death Valley, California to raise money for the National Brain Appeal charity. Training is proving to be challenging to say the least. On each day of my bike ride I plan to wear an LFC shirt for each of our five European Cup wins (77,78,84,05) I am still trying to track down an '81 shirt worn on the night we beat Real Madrid... if I am unsuccessful I will wear a shirt in honour of my hero Kenny Dalglish.

I have already been selected to be published in the local papers, the only reason I did this is to raise more awareness for the good work the NHS do for us, and to raise money for The National Brain Appeal my chosen charity. Once I have completed this bike ride I plan to raise more fundraising by biking from Yosemite National Park to San Fran.

Also if you could help me find the '81 shirt I will forever be in your debt

Thankyou for taking the time to read my post & I hope some of you can help me.

Best Regards,
