Starting on 10th May 2013, along with 15 other intrepid souls, I shall take part in one of the most challenging road races in the UK, the Brathay 10 in 10. That's 10 marathons over 10 consecutive days around the beautiful Lake Windermere.

It's going to be incredibly tough, running one of the UK's most challenging marathon course 10 times over. It will be a real rollercoaster ride which will take me beyond the known edges of my physical, mental and emotional limits.

The Brathay Trust are a most worthy charity, working with underprivileged and disadvantaged young people, working to guide and inspire them to become valued within their own community - to guide them to see that 'they' can make a difference.

I know that finances are tight for many at the moment, but any and all support you could provide will go along way to making a big difference - please dig deep and be as generous as you can afford to be.
