<p><span style="color: #003366;"><strong>We did it!</strong> </span></p> <p><span><span style="color: #244061; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Thanks to </span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">the support so many of you kindly provided, I&rsquo;m delighted to say we attained both of our goals - raising &pound;5001 plus &pound;455 in GiftAid, and finishing the marathon. Many, many thanks for your generosity once again.&nbsp; Truly humbled by your support and kindness.&nbsp; <span style="color: #244061; font-size: 10pt;"><a href="http://www.fightforsight.org.uk/"><span style="color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri;">Fight for Sight</span></a><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> is making a huge difference in defeating any number of eye diseases, and with our help can continue to&nbsp;maintain their great work.</span></span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #244061; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It was a warm run for London, and a number of people didn&rsquo;t hydrate properly, causing an unusual number of collapses &ndash; I even caught a woman on her way to the deck! And with a record turnout, the course was pretty packed the whole way around. I pulled up next to a chap wearing a man-kini and asked &ldquo;how&rsquo;s the chaffing?&rdquo; He turned, and with an air of pain and uncertainty, simply answered &ldquo;bad&rdquo;. </span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #244061; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Adjacent are various photos from the day.
