Assalamualaikum.

This Ramadhan I am collecting donations on behalf of the charity Penny Appeal. The donations will be used to provide clean water wells for those unfortunate people in Africa, who have to travel miles for unlcean and unsafe water everyday.

In this blessed month we fast from dawn to dusk. We break our fast with clean water that we receive from our kitchen taps. Those in parts of Africa do not have this benefit. Instead have to walk miles everyday in order to get water dirty water that is harming them. Therefore, it is a duty of ours to give to those less fortunate than us, as giving to the poor is a Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
