Story
(yes it is a race to see who can run the furthest in a single day)
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page where I am supporting the GE UK and Help for Heroes 2 year partnership to raise £350k to fund a Wellbeing Suite at the Help for Heroes recovery Centre in Catterick.
I spent over 20 years in the Army and left unharmed. Many servicemen and women are not so lucky but Help For Heroes is there to support them and I believe that it is a charity that we should support. Last year I ran the Marathon Des Sables as a personal challenge, to celebrate by 50th birthday and to raise money for this great charity. This year I am wanting to raise more money for Help For Heroes again and also see if I can push my self in a different way. This September I have entered the Buff Joust 24 hr ultra race (http://www.ultrarunningltd.co.uk/thejoust24hr.html) where I will run off road for 24 hours trying to complete as many 4.8 mile laps as possible. You can take part as a team but I am doing it solo.
Please consider making a donation to this great Charity. If you do not think that the challenge is hard enough I am open to suggestions if it will help raise money.
