Tullow ride from Brussels to London · 4 June 2014

The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

This is our 5th annual charity cycle ride. Following visits to Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen, this year we are cycling back from Brussels via the battlefields at Ypres. In recognition of this year's WW1 centenary we have chosen a military charity - Combat Stress - founded in 1919 to support people suffering from shell shock, but today busier than ever helping soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

On the last day of our 420km route we will be visiting their centre in Leatherhead (conveniently near to Box Hill), to see the charity in action.

As usual, Tullow is meeting all our costs, so any money donated goes straight to the charity.
