I am attempting a 200 mile bike ride from Newcastle to Edinburgh on the 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th of July 2010 in memory of my wife Joan. The charity I have chosen to ask you to pledge a donation to is the Oncology Unit at Lancaster Royal Infirmary who were responsible for Joan's ongoing treatment of cancer. This bike ride is my way of thanking them for all their care and support and I would ask you to give generously to this very worthy unit.
