Two years ago my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; he's also a talented long distance runner. With these things in mind, I've decided to run the Derby half marathon this October. I'm hoping to:

1) Raise much needed funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Action charity (or Bill Fox's Charity as we call it in our house!)

2) Prove to my dad that I can! Not sure I'm going to beat his PB of 1 hr 13 though!

Anything you can spare will be much appreciated (and help motivate me to get out there and start training!)
