Cardiac Risk in the Young Verified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845 (England & Wales), SC052581 (Scotland)
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

At the end of a 10K run on a beautiful summer's day four years ago, Katrina Brown collapsed and died. She had an undiagnosed heart weakness. Every year hundreds of young people die from similar conditions - deaths that are entirely preventable. The charity CRY works to save these precious lives. I am a patron. I witnessed Katrina's death. I'm running my first marathon to help CRY. Please help me by sponsoring my run and by giving as generously as you can. Thank you. Bill.
