At the end of a 10K run on a beautiful summer's day four years ago, Katrina Brown collapsed and died. She had an undiagnosed heart weakness. Every year hundreds of young people die from similar conditions - deaths that are entirely preventable. The charity CRY works to save these precious lives. I am a patron. I witnessed Katrina's death.
