At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Most people met us through equestrian based events or socialising, and those that know us well enough will know that we've been best friends since playgroup (1989!!).

We're really keen to do something for this fantastic charity and in particular, we want to run the Bath Half Marathon in memory of Kian-Jai Baker. Kian lost his fight for life on Friday the 9th of April 2010, and his parents Steve Baker and Gemma Isaacs have been through so much over the past three years. The least that we can do is support a great charity in the memory of such a special little boy, whom so many people remember with love.

We're training together three times a week and hope to achieve a respectable time around a rather hilly route. Our aim is to reach £1500 in donations, but would really like to hit a higher target and need your support in doing so. Please remember that every penny counts, so even if you can't afford much, be assured that your money will go towards a great cause.
