Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support because donations like mine make up 98% of their income and with cancer affecting 1 in 3 people their work is very important to all of us. I'll be raising money in memory of my dad, Billy Kirkham.

Macmillan Cancer Support is there to fund the nurses and other specialist health care professionals needed for cancer patients. They provide practical emotional and financial support for the families and communities affected.

I am so thankful for my good health and what better way to put it to use than to fundraise for a charity working to improve the health of others. I love running and raising money for a charity like this is just the motivation I need to keep pushing myself towards tackling the marathon.

Please donate whatever you can because we all know someone who needs the help of the Macmillan Cancer Support team and without your donations their work is impossible. Thank you in advance to anyone who does donate, it not only means a lot to myself and my family but also to the many other families affected by cancer.
