Story
On Sunday 14th October, along with Sophie, Pete and Niki, I will be taking on another challenge and treking the Great Wall of China to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
We will be walking in memory of James who we lost to bowel cancer on the 13th October 2011 at the age of 28. We fly out a year after we lost James and wanted to mark this by doing something positive.
James was the most optimistic person I have ever had the good fortune to know and he knew how to live every moment while taking the rest of us with him. The money we raise will go to Bowel Cancer UK for vital research against this indiscriminate disease.
Thank you for any support you can give, no matter how small.
Bowel Cancer effects more than 36500 in the UK every year and is the second most common cancer in women and the third in men. Every penny we raise will go towards critical research to stamp out this devastating disease.
