News to Date:

 

Won 1st Day with record breaking flight.  

However bad day for the aircraft.  It was towed around underwater for an hour by the rescue boat in front of us.  We could see that the wing had already been snapped off.  It was then buoyed and spent the next 6 hours at the bottom of the sea.

 

When the tide finally revealed the wreckage I dug out the sand and scooped the wreckage into the bag.  Last night was spent with the duck tape and all the other bits of string etc that I could lay my hands on.  (Sorry Jan I had to cut a small section from the front of your car.  (I've stuck some duck tape over it...nobody will notice.)

Aircraft does not look quite the same.
