Highland Hospice provides specialist care and support to terminally ill patients and their families in the Highlands. We have an In Patient Unit in Inverness, provide day care across the region and offer bereavement counselling for relatives. We aim to provide dignity when time matters most.

Story

Time I got off my bum and did a bit of fundraising for the Highland Hospice, which is UHI's chosen charity for 2014.

I've signed up to complete a 26 mile route around the Black Isle in April, not having turned a pedal for years uncounted.

As the Kessock Bridge is due to be de-surfaced, I'm planning to take on the commute by bike from mid-February (bike is in the post) :-)

I'm planning to donate the pennies I save by not burning diesel in a queue for two hours a day to the Hospice, who have been turning faces towards the sun for twenty-five years now. May you never need them!
