Martha was transferred from Wythenshawe Hospital to the Intensive Care Unit at Alderhey Children's Hospital where she was treated for 5 days. She received expert specialist care which meant she made a full and speedy recovery. We were treated with professionalism and empathy at what was one of the most difficult times of our lives. Although the care we received was excellent, the building was definitely in need of renewal. Alderhey is due to move to a new site later this year and we hope to help raise funds to go towards this important transition.
