Mental Health UK is here for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We are made up of four organisations based in each of the four nations of the UK, working together to improve mental health.

Story

I am running the Great Scottish Run 10K to build up to achieving one of my goals in life which is to run a marathon. I thought I should make all the effort worthwhile and raise some funds in the process. To that end I am running in support of my work's Charity Partner for 2017, Mental Health UK.

Research shows that each year in the UK, one in four people are affected by poor mental health and of these; around four million will also struggle with their financial wellbeing. I am fundraising to help Mental Health UK to support those affected by mental health problems and create a pioneering Mental Health and Money Advice Service which will offer support for people experiencing both mental health and financial difficulties.
