Why I am doing this? 

Well, after 3 marathons so far, (London Marathon on 2004 & 2007) and Nottingham in 2004, I am making a comeback.  Maybe its because this will be my last year in the 30's (hey, no jokes now!).  The real reason is about giving something back to the local community in which I work every day.

I am part of the commissioning team for the new Rosendale Health Centre project which is under construction at present and is due to be completed in April 2010.  When this is complete, the current location of Rossendale Hospice at Cribden House, will move into part of this new, bespoke facility.
