International wildlife charity Born Free Foundation has a track record of putting in place highly effective field projects in response to threats faced by wildlife.

In order to ensure the best possible long term support for elephants, Born Free is working with government wildlife authorities in Burkina Faso (West Africa) to ensure that funds raised through Bloody Ivory can be put to use in the most efficient way. The L’Équipe des Éléphants (Team Elephant) has already been provided with key basic equipment and has been deployed. Its objective is to safeguard one of West Africa’s largest remaining elephant populations in Park W.

Funds are needs to keep the Team in the field, where they are having a dramatic impact AND, if we can raise enough funds, provide them with radio communications so they can call in additional support, catch more poachers and save more elephants!

It is a 100% fund - as administrator of this fund, Born Free will make NO deductions of any kind - every dollar, pound, euro, lira, rupee and dinar you give will go towards law enforcement operations which protect elephants on the ground.
