Capital to Coast Cycle Challenge for Charity · 30 June 2013 ·
On Sunday 30th June seven brave Bloomers and our friend Peter Miles from ADT will be gearing up for a 60-mile ride from London to Brighton to raise money for two great charities – Norwood and the Down’s Syndrome Association.
It’s perhaps fair to say that not all of us are true cycling enthusiasts, but we love a challenge and we’re wheely excited about what will be a truly spoke-tacular day! Ok, maybe we should tread carefully before you get tyred of the rubbish bike puns…
We’ve been inspired by the likes of Mark Cavendish, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Victoria Pendleton and Sir Chris Hoy and we believe that we can achieve anything if we just put our minds (and legs) to it.
To mentally prepare for the course, we’ve been putting in the practice – not just on our bikes, but in the classroom. We thought it prudent to study a bit of cyc-ology ahead of the big day.
