On 2nd September 2017, I completed the Guernsey to Herm "Boaty" challenge in
40 minutes, beating swimmers from the Guernsey Swim Adventures club.  The Swimmers issued another challenge - Guernsey to Sark!  This has been scheduled for the 13th July, leaving St. Martin's point at about 3.30pm and coincides with a big spring tide.  This is a completely different level, I will be making the crossing on BoatyMcBikeFace, racing against two swimmers from the GSA, Jacqui Hunt and Doric Steer.  For both myself, on Boaty, and the swimmers, the distance from Guernsey to Sark is significant.  A massive thanks have to go to The Guernsey Swim Adventures team, not are they fully supporting The Sarah Groves Foundation with fundraising, the physical challenge for Jacqui & Doric is MASSIVE.  Although a "race", this really is all about getting us all over to Sark safely.   

To raise money for the Sarah Groves Foundation, in conjunction with the Guernsey to Sark attempt we will be running a raffle.  This has been approved by the States of Guernsey and has a lottery permit number 10/2018.  Tickets have been printed with each one having 5 numbers on. Tickets are available from various Tour De Sez riders and support staff.  For every £5 donated via this JustGiving page, a ticket will be given to the donor.  With the new GDPR privacy regulations coming in to force we can not access email details so, if you donate via this justgiving page please either send a quick text to me at 07781 149991 or via a Facebook message to let me know how to contact you.  The draw will take place on the 14th July and winners will be advised by email.   

The prize list is extensive with many high value prizes with an estimated total value of £2,000, the top three prizes can be seen below : -  

1st prize, A fully paid trip to Sark comprising a £500 voucher for Stocks Hotel, 2 X Adult return tickets with Sark Shipping, a Voucher for Lunch at La Sablonnerie and spending money of £90.  Total estimated value of £750.

2nd prize, a fitness package including a Healthspan hamper, two personal training sessions with "Cross The Finish Line", a massage at Equilibrium and two weeks membership of Kings. Total estimated value of £310.

3rd prize, a £300 voucher for Ian Browns Cycle Shop.
