<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in aid of The Friends of Essex Churches Trust.</p> <p>The Church in Essex reaches out to the poor and marginalised in our world, with projects like helping people that are sleeping rough in Whitehapel and creating a new diocese in drought-ridden northern Kenya. It is at the heart of our local communities, and our church buildings provide quiet places for us to be with God and find comfort, space for us to meet to worship God, to celebrate births and marriages, and to commit to God our loved ones who have died, and much more.</p> <p>On Saturday 10th September I, and a few thousand others, will be&nbsp;cycling around our county visiting as many churches as possible to raise money for the&nbsp;Friends of Essex Churches Trust. &nbsp;The Friends will use half your donation to give grants to Christian churches and chapels in Essex and East London.&nbsp; The other half will go to St Mary the Virgin Church, Broxted.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
