We have recently lost our beloved Bob, who besides being a great guy, was also a life-long Sunderland supporter, travelling from Essex and Gibraltar to see them play! All his family and friends will miss him more than words can say and one of the ways we would like to honour his memory is to support the Foundation of Light. Bob was generous to a fault and we hope that in his name we can raise as much as possible for a charity close to one of his greatest loves, Sunderland.

There is no target , just a wish to raise money for this very good cause. The Foundation of Light is the registered charity of Sunderland AFC. They use the power of football to involve, inspire and educate young people and their families through a broad range of innovative programs. Last year they helped improve the lives of more than 40,000 people across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham. The Countess of Wessex is the Royal Patron of the Foundation of Light.
