Brain tumours affect more young lives than any other cancers and research currently receives very little funding. Our beautiful daughter, sister and auntie Claire was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of brain tumour Glioblastoma Multiform in August 2012 at the young age of 37. She was newly married and had so many hopes and dreams for the future. She fought bravely and despite her bleak prognosis lived for five and a half years after diagnosis. She was an inspiration to everyone and we shall love her, miss her and be proud of her always. We hope that the combined efforts of all who loved Claire and everyone affected by brain tumour disease, to raise money for research, will mean that one day brain tumours can be cured.
