My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the British 10k in July because it is fun, and also to raise money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.
I have always been a great fan of Roald Dahl's books and it is a real honor to run for the charity established by his widow, Mrs Felicity Dahl. They are doing truly marvellous work, improving the lives of many seriously ill children.

As you might already know, I've ran the British 10k yesterday in 1:17:32 which is a bit better than I expected! It was very rainy but not cold so apart from getting even my socks soaking wet, it was a great run. Thanks for supporting and cheering me on!
Only 4 days to go! I had my last big training run yesterday, 10.3k. It wasn't easy, but I managed to run all of it without stopping (not counting traffic lights). It took me about an hour and 20 minutes, so hopefully my time Sunday will be similar.
I received my run pack in the post yesterday! Will post details and pic soon.
Hey everyone, yesterday I had the longest run of my life, 8,5 kilometres. It certainly felt that long, and of course it was raining all the way, but it was also fun. I got to see the panorama from Richmond Hill and some wet deer too. Next week I'll try to do the full 10k!
Thanks to all of you, I am nearing the 500-pound mark! This weekend I managed to run 7,5 kilometres, across Richmond Park. A herd of deer was crossing the road so close to me I had to slow down not to scare them. It was quite awesome.
