Box Rocks Festival · 27 August 2012

RUHX (formerly The Forever Friends Appeal) is the official NHS charity of the Royal United Hospitals Bath. We’re here to make our place healthier, happier and stronger for the future. And we do that by supporting the extra extraordinary work that leads to exceptional care for everyone.

Story

The Queens Head pub in Box is rocking out for their 19 Anniversary charity festival- Box Rocks. Featuring a special Rocky Horror Show, the event is on 27 August- Bank Holiday Monday. Adults pay £3 and children £1.50 on the door. All entry fees will be donated to The Forever Friends Appeal’s Cancer Care Campaign- raising £5 million towards a new pioneering Cancer Centre.

This will be the 10 year that Box Rocks has supported The Forever Friends Appeal. Zoe Tainton, Community Fundraiser says: “It is absolutely fantastic that Box Rocks have been so kind to support us for 10 years running! They have fundraised well-over £15,000 for The Forever Friends Appeal and we are utterly grateful for their help. We are very proud to say they have been our Community Partners throughout our last Campaign for our premature babies, raising thousands of pounds towards The Dyson Centre for Neonatal Care which opened in July 2011. We are now delighted they have come on board with our Cancer Care Campaign."

"Come on the day- pay at the door and we look forward to seeing you!"
