At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

I found out this year that my Aunt and a close friend have been diagnosed with this horrible disease. After a little peddle for Countrywide to raise cash for this worth while cause I have decided I needed something a little more challenging, in aneffort to try and raise some significant cash. So in a moment of madness and at 54 years young I decided to enter the Lakesman Challenge - swim 3.6 KM Derwent Water Keswick, Cycle 112 miles across the Lake District, and then, run a marathon through the Lake District to finish all within 17 hours. This I see as a great opportunity to bring awareness to a fantastic cause.

To put myself through this at my age, yes I'm a little nuts which is why i'm appealing for you to give to this great cause. Thanks Brad
