Story
Beazley has been proud to support the work of World Child Cancer since 2014, and our staff are also undertaking amazing challenges to raise to raise much needed funds to help children with cancer in developing countries.
This year nine intrepid Beazley employees including myself will be reaching the summits of the highest mountains in the UK, Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, all within 24 hours!
My previous fund raising events usually include running and sometimes mud, fire and ice. However I have been assured this challenge is on a par to previous fund raising challenges, if not more difficult. Especially for someone who never willingly walks up hills, let alone 3 mountains in 24 hours.
We all believe in the life changing work that World Child Cancer does, and aim to raise as a team at least £6,500 for them, as this could pay for life saving chemotherapy for 130 children in the locations that World Child Cancer work.
Thank you for your support, it will support a child with cancer's life saving treatment.
