Our Precious son, Bradley Oakley Badcock     As many of you will already know, on 14th January 2011, at 34 weeks pregnant, we found out that our baby boy Bradley's heartbeat had stopped.  Tragically, he passed away due to unknown reasons. That day will haunt us forever.  The very next day on Saturday 15th January 2011 at 9.53pm, the day before Mummy's birthday, Bradley was born naturally sleeping peacefully.  We were in shock and absolutely devastated, all our hopes and dreams of our future with our baby boy had been shattered.    "Mummy and Daddy are so proud of you and will always love you - you will NEVER be forgotten.  You will always be a part of our family, our first born child. Sleep tight our precious little boy, we will be together again one day"   Ella's Memory has been established by Martyn and Emmillie Selley, in memory of their beautiful daughter, Ella.  The aim of Ella's Memory is to help parents of still born babies in Cornwall compile their own memories of their beautiful babies in comfortable surroundings. During our time at Royal Cornwall Treliske Hospital, sadly the Daisy Suite had not yet been finished and so we had to give birth to Bradley in the main maternity ward, which was a very difficult time for us.  Luckily, there were no other babies born that evening that we were aware of.  However, if we had seen or heard a healthy baby kicking and screaming in their parent's arms and seeing the joy in their faces, it would have been devastating for us and made it all feel more 'real'.  The Hospital Midwife staff were excellent, in particular Sharon Vincent who stayed with us the whole time, bathed and dressed Bradley and took some lovely photos and put together some keepsake items in a box for us.  We were both in complete shock and would not have been mentally capable of gathering all these things together at the time and its thanks to the Hospital that we now have treasured photos and keepsakes of Bradley in his box.  These boxes are all a result of donations from Charities such as Ella's Memory.  We would love to help Martyn and Emmillie raise money towards their next project and hopefully improve the equipment at Treliske Maternity Hospital to improve antinatal care and avoid this happening to other parents'.     Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
