Bupa Great Manchester Run 2011 · 15 May 2011 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Last year I ran the 10k in 1 hr and 43 minutes. This year I am to make it a dead 1 hr and 40 minutes...I have already started training.

Last year, you all helped me raise over £300 for the Stroke Association. This year I want to top that!

As you may know, my Dad had a stroke a few years ago, and without treatments and physio (all the things the Stroke Association work on) he wouldn't be half as annoyingly mobile as he is now. Please dig deep!
