My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am Running/Walking a 24 hour Ultramarathon on the 14th & 15th of May in Support of Asha Nepal. The event is on the Isle of Thanet in Kent & information on it can be found here: www.challengehub.co.uk
This charity helps to fight against the trafficking of girls from Nepal to India, many of whom are just children. Every year up to 20000 girls are abducted, forced or tricked into brothels in india, where they are beaten, raped & starved into submission. Some are even killed by the brothel owners. The average life expectancy of a girl who is trafficked is only 34 years old.
Even if they escape or are rescued they still face unemployment, stigmatisation, abuse, poverty & disease on their return to Nepal. Please sponsor me to help fight this growing problem facing thousands of girls in Nepal.

Its aim is to empower females through education, training and security, giving them a voice.
