Story
Cristina and I decided to participate in this event (http://www.vatternrundan.se/) last September, for different personal reasons, but we shared the same goal of helping "to save the world".
We are doing this by asking you to sponsor us, "the Vatternrundan Brazilian team". How? Easy! Giving money to our beneficiary charity - HOPEHIV.
We are raising money for HOPEHIV who support children and young people in sub-Saharan Africa affected by HIV/AIDS. We believe they have the potential to make Africa’s future one of hope, rather than despair.
Vatternrundan is the largest recreational bicycle ride in the world. Recreational? Hum.... We will have to cycle 300 km in less than 28 hours. It won´t be an easy task for us but we will make it.
We are brave and we will have the best soundtrack (including Marcel Teló?).
The logistic for this event in Motala, Sweden, is a nightmare. We will manage it. It will be part of the fun to drag the bike case that looks like a vampire sarcophagus across the globe.
I believe the effort of this bike race will be equivalent to running two marathons in a row. We can see we crossing the Finish line with pure joy in our faces. We have been happy now for the preparation!
And we want to share this happiness with you and invite you to help us to make other people happy. A small contribution can make a huge difference. Take $1 and an idea to multiply this money, do it, and donate the fundraised. Imagine the amount we can raise together if each one of us, family and friends, can transform $1 in $20 and make a donation of this amount.
