Ok so I am not a bearded man(as the picture shows)...but perhaps the limited choice of pictures indicate that this is the 'norm' for someone who is about to commence a marathon trek across the Brecon Beacons!  I have to admit to agreeing to this when I thought it was 13 miles!  Those who know me (which I assume will be anyone visiting this site) will understand that doubling the distance without increasing the day count (yes all in one day!) will not be an easy undertaking!!  I am actually slightly concerned at making it to the last check point which will allow me to finish the trek in daylight - we will see!
