Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I came to the Forces March via Dr. Robin Tattersall.  You all know who he is.  What an inspiration and legend.  

This year I return with those memories and with the memory of my late father, Jack Gary Linn who served in the Navy as a medic in the field in the Korean War.  He was discharged with the Purple Heart.  

I am honored to be able to unite and share with the UK my passion and desire to raise money for those who have served for us whether it be the United States or the United Kingdom.  

As I stated last year, I studied abroad in 1988 and 1992 in London and Devon and fell in love with England. So it is a little selfish of me to  travel so far from my country to indulge in my love affair with the UK. 

Fitness has always been a part of my life. I was a competitive swimmer in high school and college.  I played softball thoughout grade school and high school as well. Summers were spent as a CIT at a Christian Camp Deer Run in Alton, NH that encouraged all outdoor challenges including, ropes course, hiking, rock climbing, biking, canoeing (Allagash). In College I spent summers as a lifeguard for the City of Gloucester, Massachusetts. After having my three children, I embarked into the figure arena and competed learning the discipline of clean eating, the building of lean muscle and the role of cardiovascular exercise. My last challenge was 48 hours of cardio in 21 days in November 2012 which won me the iPad mini.

So here I am doing it again.  What others call crazy and my infinite desire to challenge myself physically, I can put my athleticism to a good cause.  I can't think of a better way to donate and thank our veterans for what they do for us.  There isn't money enough or words suffiecient to express our gratitude to them. Thank you veterans for all you do.

And Dad, this one is for you.. And I will think of you every step of the 132 miles as my feet touch the ground..
