My story
I am doing this 5 k run for fun and hoping I can raise some money for my choosen charity The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
MNDA is a fabulous charity. As a community Occupational Therapist I work with people who have MND and find the MNDA a most valuable resource. They provide support for families, loan equipment such as communication aids and chairs that help people stand. They provide much more than the NHS currently offers and thanks to them the lives of people living with MND and so much more improved. Finished this run yesterday. It is not too late to give money - I hope to get around £150 funds an MND expert researcher for a full day

Our mission is to fund and promote research to bring about an end to MND. Until then we will do all that we can to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care, achieve the highest quality of life possible, and die with dignity. We will also do all that we can to support the families and carers of people with MND. Our vision is of a world free of MND.
