Story

Hey Everyone thanks for looking at my page and hopefully supporting me – The reason I am doing this is to support my friends Matt and Catherine and their son Joshua.

I’ve decided to ride from Paris to London in 3 days to raise funds for the BHF (British Heart Foundation), so they can help research and prevent people being affected by and unfortunately dying prematurely from heart disease.

As I said, I am doing this to support my friends because of what they are going through at the moment.

Their beautiful son Joshua suffers from Cardiomyopathy (http://www.bhf.org.uk/heart-health/conditions/cardiomyopathy.aspx).

At just 12 months old Joshua needs a heart transplant and has been living in ICU/HDU at GOSH since March– most recently he has required to be fitted with an external pump called a Berlin Heart. While he continues to make progress, the work that people do at the BHF and GOSH is making continual progress to help families like Matt and Catherine.

Now here comes the next bit – I really do need your support as I have committed to raise at least £1400 and of course would like to raise more. Thank you all in advance

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
