In Zanzibar the average life expectancy is a staggering 47 years. One in 180 women die during delivery of their child and 1 in 6 children die under the age of 7 with the majority dying when aged less than 2 years. All of these statistics can be changed with just a little bit of help from everyone.

The company i work for has helped HIPZ in various ways and i have been offered the opportunity to help too. After finding out how this charity helps the people of Zanzibar and how they have already helped change one of the hospitals, i felt i could do just a little which may help a lot!

 

myself and a few others are going to ride around the Island to raise awareness and essential funds to help tranform a second hospital and give these people better chances of life.

 

It doesn't take much to help others in need so why not help me to help them!
