Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

'I'm Jake and this is my Uncle Bri. He's my hero! On July 30th Uncle Bri will be doing a skydive to raise money for Heel & Toe, the charity that Mum drags me along to every week to wear me out! They make me walk and do exercises and everything! I like Barbara though, she sings. Uncle Bri doesn't sing, he jumps out of aeroplanes. You have to give him some money for jumping so I can go see Barbara!'

Conductive Education is a holistic system of learning for children and adults with motor disorders. It is based on the ‘Peto’ system of rehabilitation. Hungarian Conductors develop and help to deliver individual programmes to encourage disabled children to learn the skills needed to meet the challenges of everyday life. It is appropriate for conditions where disease or damage to the central nervous system affects a person’s ability to control movement. Jake has been attending sessions for 4 years now and would not be the boy he is today if we had not found this therapy. Can you possibly imagine what its like to have to rely on a charity for your childs wellbeing? Please help us to support the wonderful work of Heel & Toe and their staff.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
