Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in this challenge to honour the memory of a great man- my dad Ron.  Ron was a kind, generous, hardworking man who loved his family very much. Ron passed away sadly in July 2011 due to cancer.  I tragically witnessed my dad changing from a tall, strong, imposing man, to a frail, weak, vulnerable man..

I have set up this page to try and raise some money for Cancer Research UK.  This will mean that whatever total is reached, it can be put to good use trying to research this terrible illness.

My participation in this event started with a work colleague asking if I would be interested in competing in it,  since registering however, I am now part of a 25-strong group of amazing, dedicated people who are also taking on the challenge, otherwise known as Team VM.  this group have given each other advice, support, confidence and above all a team spirit which is amazing to be part of..!!

Please donate whatever you can afford, there is no right amount, whatever amount given comes with my gratitude..
