<p>Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, rising to 20,000 feet (5900m) above the plains of Tanzania. In January, I and a few other fools climbed it for charity. We started in tropical forest and four days later were&nbsp;at nearly&nbsp;6000m in rarified atmosphere at -35C! I was one of those who made it to the top - and back down again!</p> <p>We are raisng funds for Rotary Polio Plus - a fund to continue the fight to eradicate the world of Polio (only four countries left, we are nearly there) - and, in my case,&nbsp;Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal - a Northamptonshire based charity (Hence Kili or <strong>Bust</strong>!).</p> <p>Our average age is considerably higher than the norm for this kind of challenge and we needed your help to get us to the top!
