Most of you will know that on 9th October last year, I had a serious accident descending Scafell in the Lake District. As a result, I spent two weeks in hospital and a further 3 months off work recovering. Now on the mend, Ashley (Ashley Dunn) and I will be doing the infamous coast to coast walk from St Bees, Whitehaven, to Robin Hood Bay in the N.E. in order to raise as much money as possible for the mountain rescue team who came to my aid. We plan to set off on Friday, 10th June with the hope of completing the 200 mile walk in 12 days, unassisted.
We will be carrying all our own equipment and and sleeping under canvas.
