On Saturday the 30th October I'm going to attempt my first, and probably last, marathon. The marathon I've chosen is the Snowdonia marathon, which at the time seemed like a good idea, which encircles Snowdon the highest peak in England and Wales. As you can imagine it's got lots of hills so will be a massive challenge but it has the added avantage of being through some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.

My chosen charity for this event is Childrens Hospices UK whose aim is to provide the highest standards of care and support close to or in the home for children, and their families,  who are not expected to reach adulthood.
