Thanks Guys for taking the time to check out our JustGiving page!

Bridget and Emma are due to do the Worthing Triathalon on August the 16th for a fantastic Aids and HIV charity called Crusaid, 1 mile sea swim, followed by 26 mile cycle and 10 km run!!!!!!!! If possible they would absolutely love your support- as little/ or as much as you can.

Bridget's uncle Martin sadly passed away last summer of a sudden heart attack. Martin dedicated his life to supporting, educating and raising awareness for people suffering from Aids and HIV all over the world and Crusaid was an organisation he felt extremely passionately about. This inspired the pair to try and do something to help themselves, and I'm sure you'll agree this charity is a very worthy cause...

Crusaid is a grant making and fundraising charity that exists to support people living with HIV and AIDS. It has a national and international reach and works with those communities most at risk and affected by HIV and AIDS in their countries.

In the UK they focus their efforts through the Crusaid Hardship Fund. The Fund provides support for people living with HIV and AIDS in poverty in the UK. They work with a network of approximately 400 other organisations to help our beneficiaries to lift themselves out of poverty in the long term, get over a difficult patch or return to work to improve the quality of their lives. They provide funding for everything from the purchase of household goods, payment of utility bills, respite care and education.

Abroad Cruisaid work at community level to develop grassroots projects that can act as the catalyst for long term solutions for those communities affected by HIV and AIDS. They call this programme, Points of Light as each project brings help and hope to communities most in need of our help. They will equip communities with the knowledge and tools to tackle the AIDS epidemic on their door step in a sustainable way. They identify and work with local organisations, capacity building them to take on the Point of Light programme in a way that meets their needs.
