Treking. Namibia 2001, Brazil 2002, Thames Path 2003, raising funds for SSAFA Forces Help & Rukba. Now a new challenge. SSAFA is running a trek in Nepal in Feb 2005 to raise vital funds for Service & Ex-Servicemen/women & their families when in need.

This will probably be the last trek I will undertake as I will be 76 when the trek takes place & having two replacement knees as a futher handicap, I think I would be pushing my luck to take on any more. Working with SSAFA for 11years in a Service Committee & as a Community Volunteer, I have first hand experience of the dedication & commitment of the thousands of well trained vlounteers, the cost of their training & money needed to carry on with their essential sometimes stressful work.
