For the third year, Bright Horizons staff through the UK and Ireland will be taking part in Walk On events, held throughout the summer months to raise money for the Foundation and awareness of its work.The key feature of Walk On is a sponsored walk. This could be a simple sponsored walk around the nursery garden or a larger event at a local park where the walk is supplemented by other activities such as face painting or entertainers. Centre staff, children and families will always be involved and, where appropriate, clients.
One million children are in repeat homelessness, one third of schooling is missed by homeless children, 1 in 10 children have no access to safe play. Your money will go to creating Bright Spaces, play spaces for homeless chilldren and refugees and their families to play.
