Ginette & Gary Corr and Stuart Patten-Lawrence together with Rob Britton and Gary Edwards are undertaking a charity bike ride for Cancer Research. This year the challenge is BIG, we are cycling from Bristol to Barcelona – 2,500km (1,550 miles) over 21 days with no rest days, which will include cycling 9 days in the Pyrenees. During this trip we will climb approx 40,000 metres or 131,233 feet.
When we reach the Pyrenees on day 10 we will have 27 Cols to cycle over which have featured in the Tour de France. We will be climbing an average of 3,028 metres each day for the following 9 days.
Please donate as much as you can, we do these crazy challenges to raise money for great causes and it really helps us when we are suffering to know our efforts are helping those less fortunate than ourselves because believe me we are going to have many days of suffering to overcome.
