My story

Thank you for taking the time to visit the British Showjumping Just Giving page in respect of our support of the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation.

The Foundation was nominated by British Showjumping as an additional charity alongside the Animal Health Trust that they would like to support in 2012.

Awareness of the Foundation came when Tim Stockdale, a former Olympian and one of Great Britain's highest ranked riders was admitted to the hospital following a fall that resulted in multiple fractures of his neck. 

As one of the UK's specialist orthopaedic hospitals they provide specialist care to patients many of whom have suffered riding injuries.  Donating will assist them to research and develop new treatments in addition to allowing them to provide state of the art equipment and facilities.
